Bryan has served on the Woburn Halloween Parade Committee since 1974 and served as Parade Chairperson for 11 years. The Woburn Halloween Parade is one of the largest parades in New England. The Parade is what allows the Woburn Host Lions Club to be a leader in donations to Massachusetts Lions Eye Research Fund, Inc. The club has donated over $415,000 over the years, is second highest in donations in 33N and third highest in Massachusetts. Bryan has served as Region Two Chairperson, 33N Leo Chairperson, and Chairperson of the Mid-winter ad book. He serves as State Flag Chairperson responsible for flags that represent the states and countries of each sitting International Director and each International Officer and many of the Past International directors and Officers. These are the flags that are part of the flag ceremony at the State Convention each year. Bryan is responsible in a big way for helping out yearly on Christmas donations for Woburn’s underprivileged. Through his church (St. Charles) and members of the Woburn Host Lions Club over $5,000 has been given to needy families. Bryan handles most of the club’s property, which always makes an impressive display at WW II Veterans Dinner in November. You have seen his style at many mid-winters and District meetings. Bryan built a Lions Club grille that is used all over the city for various activities and fundraising projects. He also volunteers his time to prepare, cook, and clean for the American Cancer Relay for Life, Woburn Recreation Department Day, Woburn Hospice, and Supportive Living, Inc. Charles L. Schepens
