Fellow Lions of District 33N, it’s with great pride and honor that I begin the year as your 2^nd Vice District Governor. I’m very proud of my membership in the Woburn Middlesex Lions Club and honored that the Lions of District 33N elected me to this position. International President Tam’s theme for this year is “I Believe”. If we believe each one of us can make a difference then imagine what 1400 Lions together as a TEAM can do. We’ll work as a team to accomplish much during this year and beyond because we all know that Together Everyone Achieves More. Just think of all the wonderful things we will be able to accomplish by working together and pooling our resources.

 

Over the next few years you will hear me talk about the two most important components of successful Lions Clubs, membership and leadership. Although we will work as a team, it is up to each Lion in our district to help our membership grow by asking someone to become a Lion. Don’t be discouraged if they say no, it may not be the right time for that person but it will be the right time for another. We need new people to step up into leadership roles in order to continue the wonderful work that we do and to keep our membership growing.  All you need to do is believe in yourself and you will be a great leader.
